An opportunity exists for 1 Civil Engineer to join Maintenance Department at LAMP, Kuantan. He/ she will manage assigned projects include preparing business justification report, perform basic & detail design work and manage construction & installation process.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Plan, study, source, and execute plant improvement projects, including preparing project schedules, defining scopes of work (SOW), preparing tender documentation, evaluating contractors, and supervising project implementation to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and operational requirements.
- Provide technical and engineering support to operations and maintenance teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, oversee preventive maintenance activities (including plant facilities such as air conditioning), and develop engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and improve plant reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct equipment reliability studies, participate in failure investigations, track MTBF and corrective actions, monitor project and maintenance costs, and initiate cost-saving and performance improvement initiatives to enhance plant operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with strong working knowledge in engineering field, technical assurance principles & procedures, maintenance & reliability practises, design & installation.
- Demonstrate the ability to work more effectively at the site, leading to increase productivity and efficiency for preventive maintenance compared to corrective maintenance.
- Positive working attitude toward responsibility and task given.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.

An exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive Treasury to join our Finance Department at Kuala Lumpur office.
He/ she will support the treasury operations activities across Lynas Rare Earths, including cash management, banking activities, and foreign exchange monitoring in ensuring smooth liquidity management according to the business’ objectives and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Execute daily cash flow monitoring and prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Manage banking operations including facility utilization, drawdowns, deposits, transfers, and other treasury transactions.
- Monitor and report on foreign exchange market and support the execution of FX transactions and hedging activities.
- Maintain strong and close working relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Support treasury reporting, compliance, and internal control processes.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Management on cash planning matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Banking preferably with professional qualification such as CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CA or equivalent and member of MIA.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate treasury or corporate finance role preferable in manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of ERP software.

An opportunity exists for 1 Electrical Engineer to join our new department at LAMP, Kuantan.
He/ she will lead the Electrical FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering for innovation and plant expansion projects.
Requirements of this programme:
- Develop and validate Electrical Load Schedules, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and Protection Coordination studies using software like ETAP or SKM.
- Lead the design of HV/LV power distribution, including transformer sizing, Switchgear/MCC layouts, and cable sizing (voltage drop/short circuit calculations).
- Design the physical layout of electrical and instrument trays, ensuring proper EMI segregation and Design for Maintainability to minimize plant footprint.
- Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for electrical packages and manage external Electrical Consultants (DED) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide expert electrical input for HAZOP/LOPA studies, focusing on electrical hazardous area classification and arc-flash safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial, chemical, or mineral processing environments.
- Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
- Atleast Green Belt Six Sigma.
- Proficient of ETAP, SKM or other related to perform Load Flow, Short Circuit Analysis, and Protection Relay Coordination studies essential for plant reliability.
- Advanced ability to design the interface between heavy electrical loads and the DCS/PLC/SIS layers, specifically for Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and smart motor starters.

We are looking for 1 Senior Process Engineer & 1 Process Engineer to join our new department at LAMP, Kuantan.
He/ she serves as technical authority and execution specialist responsible from the scale-up of research innovations into operational plant assets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and execute feasibility studies, process design, simulations, mass and energy balances, and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs.
- Translate research and pilot-scale data into scalable, commercially viable industrial processes.
- Ensure compliance with process safety requirements, regulatory standards (DOSH/DOE), and professional engineering practices.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure processes meet operational and commercial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes lines into operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/ Metallurgical/ Material Engineering with minimum 7 years’ experience in chemical/ mineral processing industries.
- Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
- Atleast Green Belt Six Sigma.
- Strong mathematical comprehension and ability to use MATLAB/SPC and Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Expertise in leading HAZOP, ensuring all special projects adhere to DOSH Malaysia and Process Safety Management (PSM) frameworks.
