Lynas’ in-house research and development team partners with leading academic and research organisations and is focused on both continuous improvements and breakthrough technologies.
Lynas has deep market expertise in Europe, US and Asia including understanding customers’ requirements in a variety of technologies and applications and anticipating future market trends in conjunction with world class R&D institutes and universities. Lynas’ customer markets include magnets for motors, generators and other products.
Future Products
Lynas is leveraging our expertise in product purity, surface and formulation to develop new clean energy technologies. These technologies require a new generation of catalysts, materials and processes able to facilitate hydrogen generation, transport, storage and distribution as well as capturing and adding value to carbon dioxide (known as ‘Power to X’). This R&D investment is made in partnership with global players in the energy sector, new equipment makers and leading universities across the world with a focus on Rare Earth and non-Rare Earth based Catalysts and Materials relevant to ‘Power to X’ and ammonia Cracking.
