An opportunity exists for 1 Process Engineer to join Radiation Safety Department (R&D By-Product) at LAMP, Kuantan. He/she will be responsible to develop and implement the innovative by-product recycling, reuse and sustainable initiatives that transform industrial by-product into commercialised value-added products while minimising environmental impacts.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute the R&D programs, conduct the laboratory test, pilot scales trials, field testing, and commercialisation of value-added product.
• Identify and assess the opportunity to recover, recycle, or reuse valuable material from by-product.
• Advancing technically successful product and diversify for commercialisation, support product certification, regulatory approval, and market entry opportunities.

 Requirements of the successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Process/Metallurgical Engineering with 2 to 5 years’ working experience in manufacturing/ chemical industries.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities with the ability to apply engineering principles, practical operational insight, and data-driven analysis to effectively resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
• Positive working attitude toward responsibility and task given.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
