An opportunity exists for 1 Comm/Engagement (CEPA) Senior Executive to join Radiation Safety Department at LAMP, Kuantan. He/she will be responsible to achieve the Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) objective in compliance with ATOM requirement and foster a proactive radiation safety culture by bridging the gap between technical radiation risks and public perception.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute strategic communications plans that support CEPA goals and protect reputation.
• Create content and social media management.
• Responsible on stakeholder liaison, media relations, plan and organise the events, community education and provide safety information on rare earth and radiation.
• Prepare the evaluation method, program impact assessment, and technical report for compliance.

 Requirements of the successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications/Public Relations/Marketing or any Engineering fields with 2 to 5 years’ working experience in event management and public relations.
• Experience liaising with various government bodies & departments, regulatory authorities and universities for outreach programme.
• Able to talk confidently and have positive working attitude toward responsibility and task given.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in Kuantan, Malaysia and available to travel frequently.
